Amboseli National Park is located in the Southern Part of Kenya with Mountain Kilimanjaro in the west close to the border of Kenya and Tanzania. The Park covers an area of 392 square kilometers with acacia woodland, rocky thorny bush, swamps marshland and a Pleistocene lake.

The Park inhabits many wildlife animals that can be watched by all travelers from all over the world and these are the African elephant, African buffalo, impalas, lion, zebra, and wildebeest.

Lake Amboseli is the major safari attraction in the park and this is found in the North Western part from the delta. Lake Amboseli is usually dry mostly in the dry season but in the wet season period, the lake is filled up and at times it floods.

When Lake Amboseli is dry, this is due to the Nyiri desert which stretches along the Southern border of Kenya to Tanzania. It inhabits various animal species like elephants especially in the dry season. Camping is done along the shores of the Lake hence making it a very adventurous destination for all travelers on vacation in Kenya.
